We were a little disappointed that the beach outside our door was not safe for swimming. There was too much coral. However, had there not been coral, we would not have seen some of the wildlife that came to visit.
This green sea turtle spent hours one day entertaining us. We would see him under the surface, but he would stick his head up for air and then dive again before I could snap the shutter. I finally got him! His (or her) shell was at least 30 inches in diameter. Michael saw another one while snorkeling at another beach, as well.
Spinner dolphins also visited us one day. It looked like an adult was training some calves in the waves and coral.
