I was willing to endure the bone-jarring ride to the resort to do my first dive at the Anse Chastanet Reef, part of a pristine underwater national park. I'm a cork, but here's proof I did it! I spent a lot of the dive trying to stay at the bottom, but I floated up every time I started to swim, in spite of extra weight on my weight belt. Consequently, I didn't get to see as much of the reef as I would have liked, but I did learn that diving is COOL!
